I went out Friday night and Saturday night to catch a few bluegills. The bite was a little slow, but I was able to catch some. I had a couple that were on the small side, so I thought I'd put them on a hook to see if I could get a big bass to bite. The bobber went under a couple of times, but I wasn't able to get a hook on it. Yesterday the f-i-l and I bought some bass minnows thinking we'd have a better chance at getting a bass to bite on one of those. We were fishing in the middle of the day and we weren't getting a lot of action, but I was able to hook up with one nice one...
