I'd say you definitely had a good year. I fished a lot this year, but typically in the same spots. I have told myself that I am going to get out to more spots next year and try fishing different areas. I'd really like to catch some smallies, northerns, trout and musky. I'd also like to get on some walleye, but I'm thinking that would require a few days on Lake Erie to really get a good mess of them.

I always say no matter were you ar there is good fishing to be had. I would say there is some good walleye near you somewhere.

There is walleye in Lake Monroe, but having no boat makes it tricky to find them.
