I hit the same pond as I did last Sunday and the fish still seemed to be hungry. I fished until I was out of worms and I even used the bee moths from last week that had turned black. I had more bait thieves than catches, but I was able to catch a few bluegill, some would have been keepers, and a few bass, three of which I thought were decent...
The frustrating part was that after I walked through the woods to check my trail cams, I stopped by the pond dam to see if anything was swimming by and I saw a four to five pound bass cruising past. I had already put my poles in the truck and I was out of bait by that point.
